On Wednesday, March 17, Woodland Joint Unified School District officials are hosting an event with the Woodland Coalition for Youth, Yolo Family Resource Center and Youth Development Network to discuss the impact of the statewide budget crisis on programs affecting youth in Woodland.

Fewer teens are becoming young mothers, as births by teenage mothers have dropped to a record low in California.

The Woodland Joint Unified School District will hold its third annual English Learner Parent Institute on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Lee Middle School, 520 West Street.
